• Here for you during the Coronavirus outbreak

From 18th March 2020 services at our Church have been suspended. This is a national decision to try to keep people as safe as possible during the Coronavirus outbreak. The decison has been taken from 23rd March to close the church building in order to discourage unnecessary journeys and prevent gatherings. No weddings or christenings will be taking place for the moment. Funerals will take place only at the Crematorium or at the graveside.

We are looking at ways of keeping everyone in touch and making sure that we are still here for everyone in the parish, whenever they need help, support and care. Each day, during the outbreak, Rev'd Jane will say prayers on behalf of the Parish . These will be posted on this website so that you can pray with her in your own home.

Rev'd Jane will be regularly posting on Youtube, linked to this website, Facebook and Twitter. Please watch this site for regular updates.

CHURCH MAGAZINE - because of the outbreak we are not able to print and distribute the magazine this month but you can read it here instead    Parish Magazine April 2020

EASTER BONNETS - if you have a bonnet to decorate, please still do it and send us a photo for the online Bonnet Gallery! Judging will be in church when restrictions are lifted.

We have created a Prayer Requestspage so that you can send your request to us.

NEW FOR HOLY WEEK - Videos will be on the website from Palm Sunday to Easter Day with a Holy Week Craft Activity (printables on the Prayer Resources page), a Story about Holy Week for children and Holy Week Prayers and Reflections. Build a Holy Week Window Collage to demonstrate that you are keeping Holy Week - we'll journey together with Jesus.

Past videos are available under the Prayers with Rev'd Janepage and printable prayer resources can be found there too.

For us this is at the heart of what we believe and how we try to live. We believe in the transforming power of Jesus and that our lives can be changed through him. We want to share his message of love and peace through our lives and worship. We explore the Bible together and apply its truth to our everyday lives. We support each other through practical help and prayer. We work as a church locally, nationally and internationally to bring the hope and light of Christ to as many people and situations as we can..

If you'd like to speak to someone please contact us via stwilfschurchoffice@btinternet.com. Whoever you are, wherever you're from, whatever you do the Church is here for you.
