We are a family-friendly church who welcome people of all ages. Children are integral and valued members of our church family. We want them to know that they are loved and precious children of God and that they are always welcome in church or to any church event. We have a special place in our church annexe with books and toys for them to use. We also have an area in the Transept with children's toys where little ones can take a break.
Pre-school Praise
Pre-school Praise is run by Reverend Mark, Reverend Kate and Sarah. We welcome all children from 0-4 (and their grown-ups) to join us for a story, some songs, and a prayer, followed by crafts and refreshments in the annexe.
We hold a session on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 2pm. There's no need to tell us you're coming in advance, just show up and you will be made to feel welcome.
Kid's Church
Once a month, we hold a children's church in the annexe. Families start the service with the congregation and then are taken into the annexe for a short teaching session. Parents accompany their children in these sessions. There will be a parable, some crafts and refreshments, before we all rejoin the congregation for Communion in the main church. Kid's Church is primarily aimed at those from 4-11 years old, but younger children are welcome to come along with their parents and siblings.
Family Praise Services
These are held at 10am on Sunday morning once a month (usually the 4th Sunday) and are lively, accessible services lasting about 40 minutes - family members of all ages are always welcome!
