  • IT'S NOT TOO LATE!  CHRISTIAN AID WEEK 2021

Although we have just come to the end of Christian week, it is not too late to respond to help support the amazing work they do.
This climate crisis hurts us all. But people living in poverty fight the worst of it every day.

From drought to flooding, climate change robs people of control over their lives. Extreme weather means people are struggling to survive without a reliable source of water.

Your gift could help a community build an earth dam, so when the rains do come, they will have the water they need to live. A reliable source of water will help families withstand long drought or relentless rainstorms.

Every envelope. Every gift. Every challenge can change lives.  click

We will livestream every Sunday at 10am and occasionally during the week. To watch previous livestreamed services, prayers and reflections or to join a service as it happens, click here

WORK ON THE NEW ANNEXE IS PROGRESSING
Work on the new annexe began on Monday 24th August. Our contractors are Grosvenor Construction Ltd. who are doing an excellent job and can continue to work during lockdown. A pathway through the churchyard has been fenced off to allow for the heavy machinery to access the site. The work will mean that for a time sections of the car park will be out of bounds and that the churchyard can only be accessed via the church track (down the side of the Parr Arms). The inconvenience will be worth it though and, as we see our beautiful new building emerge, we can give thanks to God for a new phase in our church's life. A huge thank you to all the organisations and individuals who have generously donated to this scheme.

Funds are still needed to complete the project.  We need to push on to raise the money for Phase 2 which will see the resurfacing of the track, a new car park at the bottom of the track and a new pathway up through the churchyard leading to the annexe. Click HERE to find out more about how YOU can help.

Since 23rd March our income has been severely affected by the lockdown. There are still bills to pay and expenses connected to our ministry and mission. Please help by texting WILFS to 70085 to donate £5. THANK YOU

Texts cost £5 plus one standard rate message and you’ll be opting in to hear more about out work and fundraising via telephone and SMS. If you’d like to give £5 but do
    not
wish to be contaced text WILFSNOINFO to 70085

Each day, during the outbreak, Rev'd Jane will say prayers on behalf of the Parish  and will be regularly posting on Youtube, linked to this website, Facebook and Twitter. Please watch this site for regular updates.

We have created a Prayer Requests page so that you can send your request to us.
Past videos are available under the Online worship archive page and printable prayer resources can be found there too.
