  • WORK ON THE NEW ANNEXE HAS BEGUN!
On Monday 24th August contractors Grosvenor Construction Ltd. were on site and raring to go. Portacabins appeared along with lots of people in hi-vis jackets. The site was marked out and a pathway through the churchyard fenced off to allow for the heavy machinery to access the site. On Friday 28th August Rev'd Jane met with the builders and the archeologists to 'break the ground', an important moment but low-key due to social distancing.
The work will mean that for a time sections of the car park will be out of bounds and that the churchyard can only be accessed via the church track (down the side of the Parr Arms). The inconvenience will be worth it though and, as we see our beautiful new building emerge, we can give thanks to God for a new phase in our church's life. A huge thank you to all the organisations and individuals who have generously donated to this scheme. Funds are still needed to complete the project. Children's Worship

    PRIVATE PRAYER
Churches are now permitted to open for individual private prayer and for funeral services, provided they follow social distancing guidelines. Following a careful risk assessment we have decided to open for private prayer on Tuesdays  9:30-10:30am and Saturdays  1:30-2:30pm.

    CHURCH AND FACE COVERINGS
Face coverings must be worn by all those attending a place of worship, including ministers, worshippers, staff, volunteers, contractors and visitors, where there may be other people present; remembering that they are mainly intended to protect other people, not the wearer, from coronavirus (COVID-19) and that they are not a replacement for social distancing and regular hand washing

Now that lockdown is easing it is possible again to have small funerals and weddings at the church.  Christenings can be booked in advance by contacting Gill White in the Church Office.

We are looking at ways of keeping everyone in touch and making sure that we are still here for everyone in the parish, whenever they need help, support and care. Each day, during the outbreak, Rev'd Jane will say prayers on behalf of the Parish  and will be regularly posting on Youtube, linked to this website, Facebook and Twitter. Please watch this site for regular updates.

We have created a Prayer Requests page so that you can send your request to us.
Past videos are available under the Online worship archive page and printable prayer resources can be found there too.
